Information we collect

Information you give us

• Your first and last name, email address and phone number.
• Your country and state or province, if you choose to share them.
• Your consultation preferences: preferred date, time of day, time zone, a short description of your dental situation and any notes you add.
• A smiling photo of your face, if you send one for your Smile Preview.
• Whether you agreed to receive text messages.

Information collected automatically

• Video progress. How much of the presentation you have watched is saved in your own browser (local storage) so you can pick up where you left off and so the booking step can open at the halfway point. Your name, email, phone and booking preferences are also kept in your browser's local storage while you move through the pages.
• Ad and visit details. If you arrive from an ad, we may record the campaign details in the link (for example, the ad source or campaign name).
• Cookies and tracking tools. When enabled, we use the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics. These tools use cookies and similar technology to record pages you visit, actions you take (such as submitting a form or reaching a point in the video), your device and browser type, and your approximate location based on your IP address.

How we use your information

• To contact you about dental treatment with Dr. Asenjo and answer your questions.
• To schedule and confirm your free video consultation.
• To prepare your Smile Preview from the photo you send and review it with you on the call.
• To send you Dr. Asenjo's book and information related to your inquiry.
• To send you marketing emails and, if you agreed, text messages about our services and offers.
• To understand how people use this website and to measure and improve our ads.
• To keep records and meet our legal obligations.

Text messages

If you check the box to receive texts, you agree that Asenjo One Visit Dentistry may send text messages about your consultation and our services to the number you gave us. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

We do not share your mobile number or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Emails

You can stop marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by writing to us. We may still send messages about a consultation or treatment you have arranged with us.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run this website and serve you, such as:

• our customer relationship management (CRM) system,
• scheduling and video call tools,
• email and text messaging platforms,
• website hosting, and
• analytics and advertising tools (Meta and Google), when enabled.

These providers may use your information only to provide their services to us. We may also share information if the law requires it or to protect the rights and safety of our patients, our team or others.

When the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics are enabled, Meta and Google receive information about your visit and may use it under their own policies, including to show ads. Some US state laws treat this as "sharing" for advertising. You can ask us to stop, and you can limit it through your browser or device settings and ad preference tools such as Meta Ad Preferences and the Google Analytics opt out add on.

Your smile photo

We use your photo only to prepare your Smile Preview and to discuss your treatment with you. We do not publish it, use it in ads or share it for marketing without your separate written permission. Only our team and the service providers that store it for us can access it. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Where your information is stored

Our clinic is in the Dominican Republic, and some of our service providers are in the United States and other countries. Your information may be stored and processed outside the country where you live.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, including any treatment you have with us, and as long as the law requires. When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous. Information saved in your browser stays there until you clear your browser data.

How we protect it

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) on this website and limiting access to the people who need it. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

Your rights

United States residents

Depending on the state you live in, including California, you may have the right to:

• know what personal information we have about you and how we use and share it,
• get a copy of it,
• correct it,
• ask us to delete it, and
• opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for advertising.

We will not treat you differently for using these rights. You may also use an authorized agent to make a request for you. We will verify your identity before acting on a request and respond within the time the law requires.

Canadian residents

You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, and withdraw your consent to our use of it, subject to legal limits. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Everyone

Wherever you live, you can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or tell us to stop sending you marketing messages.

Children

This website is meant for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
